Has anyone ever used on of these style mufflers or know someone who does and have pictures?

its alot to cram under there, and it kind of looks funny, but hey if it flows good, why not.

I've got one on my 1G N/T (1Gb Eclipse GS DOHC 2L).

It's pretty much straight-through if you discount the bends separating the flow - I actually had a problem with the hangers on my old muffler falling out, and rode around with no muffler for about a week before getting around to putting the Megan on, and honestly, the canisters made almost no difference in terms of muffling the sound, it's not a muffler you'd want if you want to go undetected.

Putting the silencers into the can will reduce noise level to that of a near-stock exhaust setup. Significant backpressure can be felt, though, with the silencers in-place.

For some strange reason, my Megan did not come with holes drilled for securing the silencers. I did that myself. Easy and painless even with just a handheld power-drill.

Nice quality to the finish - I had it on all winter (we saw a fair amount of snow this winter in NE Ohio) on my NT, and it doesn't show any sign of surface oxidation at all. Heavy, though....

Here's a thread with another DSMer's pic. on a 1G Talon. On my Eclipse, which is using aftermarket pipes cat-back, I have the two tubes exiting pretty much where your outer markers get divided by the vertical rear hatch line. Since I have the factory 1Gb lower skirt, I really wasn't limited in where the exhaust tips exited.
