anybody ever got 43 counts of knock

Has anybody ever got 43 counts of knock. I was on the highway one time and opened it up and i checked the datalogger today and i seen I hit wot and i got 43 counts of knock in third. can I be maxing out the injectors. my i had 18 lbs of boost.

, are you serious? ya i've had 43 counts and so have millions of other dsmer's.. its not a good thing....

would 43 indicate a bad knock sensor? because thats the max the logger will read...

Every day. I've never had more than 2 counts of knock at WOT. However, I get 43 counts all the time at part throttle. I love phantom knock!

Update your profile.... no one can tell you yes or no or maybe, until we know what you drive and what's been done to it....

If you're stock, then yeah, you're running lean. HOWEVER, every time you smash the pedal there is a lean spike, so it could be from that as well.

Only time I got that much knock is when I forgot to hook the pressure hose to the fuel pressure regulator...

Once, my Safc-II counted 117 counts of knock... After that I found that the SAFC-II doesnt work with the knock sensor, but still, 117 beats the crap outta your number
