I am doing the new 3g lifter thing with the cams in the head as per faq. They come off easy the rockers but not so fun to get them back on.Should the lobe face a certain direction?Any tips and tricks the faq is sort of ok and did get 2 /8 on one bank back on but not exactly sure how I did those.

I swaped mine a couple days ago, i used a long screwdriver to press the retainer down. They went right in, some where a little pain.

Ok after spending hours on these things I figured out the exact trick. One turn the cams so the lobe point of the lope points straight up.Second place the rocker on the valve and have it over the valve stem.Third take the screwdriver a big flatblade and lever up on the
rocker by the lifter end and you will get it up and over the lifter if that lope is straight up.
Then you can usually if needed give a bit of push to rocker from behind by the spring and it should pop on there no problem.I had zero problems on the end rockers he says you might in the faq.

So it should take maybe an hour tops to do.Pretty simple once you figure out the technique of getting the rockers back on there.
