any mods to tranny for 300whph

just like it says im looking to make 300whp its a 98 fwd turbo.. anything i need to do? or what would you guys do to it.. im buying it for my gf. i dont know anything about autos

You NEED to do a valve body kit, don't worry about your end clutches until they go, and keep a good eye on fluid levels and temperatures..........
 
External tranny cooler. It won't give you more HP, but it will help extend the tranny's life.

At the 300WHP level, the end clutch will eventually go. If the tranny itself goes, or you want to prevent that from happening, try IPT's rebuild kit with their new stronger clutch packs which are stronger than stock. And a good synthetic ATF is a plus as well-- it can handle the high heat better, like synthetic oil can.
