Tranny to motor

There is nothing to align right when putting the torque converter back on the shaft and then putting the tranny back on to the motor? My thought was it only goes on one way right? Doesn't matter what state the pistons are or anthing when bolting the stuff on a new motor. (taking everything of the old motor and putting it on the new)

Just wanted to make sure.

The torque converter housing had been balanced to the crank, and should have had its alignment marked before removal so it mounts up as it came off.
