any good on ebay

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

I haven't found to many bad reviews about ebay down pipes and cat backs. But stay away from manifolds, turbos, o2 housings. You can get some decent prices on some name brand sensors. ECMlink is sold on ebay. 3g lifters, some gaskets. Rebuilt throttle bodies.

Used transmissions at ok prices, risky though becaue unsure of condition. Some or most of the suspension parts are good.

Mixed reviews about XTD clutch sets. Fidanza flywheels are there. Brembo rotors. Some decent brake pads. Original manufacture reading material (ie. brochures, and comparisons of other makes versus dsm).

Once and a while good prices on ECU's/TCU's basically any used part can find a steal of a deal.

As for the HID's can search the forums for most reviews if not here google the manufacture.

Npr pistons and rings as well as acl bearings. Most intercooler are pretty decent on there also.

very happy with my ebay hids. by "hipro power" i read reviews and made a decision to go with it. they said slim ballast when i bought them but was not. overall good quality and come with everything you need. 6000k very bright. if you want more info let me know. as for suspension, id be careful, that's what your car rides on man if its legit parts, just do your research.

well i ended up getting some hids 8000k i really like em

nice the hids look good. ebay is hit or miss, ive had good exp. with ebay catbacks (srs catback) as far as things like turbos, manifolds, boost controllers, brakes etc.. i hav heard all mixed reviews, just do your research on the seller first, read all reviews etc, feedback rating, and only buy what has "returns acceptable" be smart, do your research first. oh also ive herd mostly good things about ebay fmic's but i have no personal exp.

eBay sure is a hit or miss. Its best to research what seller sells quality parts and who does not. Ive had luck with ebay especially after ordering a walbro 255 puel pump a while ago for my turbo crx but took me hours to make sure it was legit since I didnt want to spend the extra 20 dollars from a reputable website. -___-

Btw nice HID's on your dsm man.

Intake pipes and exhaust are the only thing I've personally bough on ebay. Can't complain.

I have bought other parts such as some suspension parts for some bagged trucks i have built the best thing i have noticed is the ratting and how many items sold and to read everything very carefully

Has any one bought a speed sensor on there for a 420 a 5 speed or any one know a good cheap place to get one

Ebay o2 housings are fine. I had an SSAC o2 dump on my first Talon for well over a year, car was daily driven (20k/yr) and the o2 hosuing still looked new minus discoloring when the car was sold. I also had a megan o2 hosuing on my Evo9 which is basically the same as the eBay pieces and it held up fine as well. The only complaint I have ever heard is warped flanges, but I never experienced that problem with the two I bought.

Pet peeve: PLEASE stop calling things "Ebay x" or similar.

Ebay is a market; they do not make products. When you speak of products, be CLEAR.
