the start up point of this thread is old but its active.. july 19th dsm meet @ jamesville county park in lafayette ny just south of syracuse. the cost about $10 for car to cover the pavilion and food let me know if you want to attend or any dsm in your area let them know see if they would like to come and let me know by pm me thanks josh:hellyeah:
 
Anyone from Eastern NY or anywhere else that will be taking the thruway and passing through Utica?

if the meet is in jamesville ill be there im only about 2 miles away from there. Also a bunch of people around Syracuse hang out at the Dunkin donuts on thompson road in dewitt, right now there are a bunch crazy people but some friends of mine (non-dsm) and I are trying to make it more car oriented but if anyone wants to come down and meet up, meet some people, we ususally meet up on Fri-Sun when the weather is nice out.
 
I was thinking about getting something together and going to Esta dragstrip in Cicero N.Y. We got a couple people up here in the "real" upstate that wanna see what their EVO'S will do...and i wanna run the newly purchased GSX..(putting a TDO6H 20G on this weekend)...Let me know if anyone wants to go...thinking sometime in may...first couple weekends...dunno yet...thanks

Sounds like fun, but it's so far from me. I might join you anyway; I'll have to consider it when it gets closer to the date.

I will however be going to grudge night racing at NYIRP on April 22 next week:rocks:. If anyone wants to go, let me know so we can meet up. It's just outside beautiful Letchworth State Park at N42 47.884 W77 56.225. While in the area, if you've never been to Letchworth, check it out, it's worth every penny of the $7 vehicle entry fee. There's a fantastic gorge, with hiking trails, and three awesome waterfalls.

We'll be there with some Evo's and DSM's this Saturday the 17th for Opening Day!

As a matter a fact, Im going this sunday for test and tune. Ill have to look into this grudge night racing event...
 
hey guys well went to get car fixed and when i broke the timming belt well i bent some valves well now i need a head for my 420a engine in order to ht any meets this summer if anyone has a head for sale please let me know i want my car back:cry:
 
I made it up to the track today and got a few runs in. My best time was 13.74 @ 106.6 Mph on 93 octane pump gas. I was hoping for tens, but I guess you gotta run 12's first LOL.

I'm looking at the bright side: I made it there, I did better than 14 seconds, I made it back. Nothing to complain about there.

I also got to meet some of the guys from Street Tuned Motorsports; thanks for the advise, I'll look into that Evo MAF.
 
Nice dude. And Test and tune tomorrow. Anyone going? Ill be there with my Burgundy Spyder and a friends black Civic SI. Look for us!

My cars at Dogbox Racing, will be finished in a few weeks. I would love to meet more Dsm'ers in the NY area, there is not to many left here ( hard times with the ecomomy I guess) I would take a cruse to up-upstate NY LOL, I live in Orange County. I feel all alone around here, everyone is giving this up, I need some Dsm encouragement!!!!!!!!!!! :pray:

+1 on new york sucking as far as the car scene... i was in alaska and there was moer of a scene in the middle of the "ice box" there. any way im here in watertown and would like to get together with sonme other dsm guys or girls that do more than just sit in a parking lot and bs about what their cars or themselves cannot do. kida form a group or something. go one weekend drives just to enjoy the cars we drive something .......
 
We need some more people in the Capital region! I'm going to need some "support" (BSing and beer) with I break the new motor in!:hellyeah:
 
Yeah a club with lots of swag! ;) and well should all meet in neutral spot so no one has to drive too far! :thumb:
