thats the beauty of that south mission bay park area, no through traffic ever... the only action you'll ever see down there are couples in the back of their moms honduh fackin' :hellyeah: car meet and a show! haha.
well, it looks like its going to be a 4 car DSM meet so far, we might as well just go to alex's house if nobody else can make it because we all hang out over there anyway.

:dsm:

What up Corey!!!! Whats the haps homey!!!

Screw seeing it Rego, launch it!!!!:D

You know im down to hang, been spending some late nights with Alex and Mike anyway at his house, I think im just going to ask his parents to adopt me already, im starting to like that little tent...

Everyone still getting together at Alex's tomorrow? Ill try and show up...

We should move the meet to Sunday, I won't be able to go on sat

Hey Corey, we should get you one of these FMIC setups for your N/A!!! ROFL

dude!!! my NA runs the same motor thats sick, why didn't i think of that before? its too bad my GS engine internals are stock because i dont think it could handle all that added horsepower. ;)

could you guys that AREN'T in the military do me a favor and try to ask for work off on saturday because i CAN'T ask for work off on sunday... come on guys this is the pre MOD'09 meet, after this its the 2 hour drive up to cypress on the 11th of july.

alex why can't you come anyway? if you can't come because your car wont be done well then you can't make it sunday either. LOL i don't even know if i can take the turbo DSM saturday because alex's powder coat guy takes years to do some piping and 4 wheels... :hmm:
just as long as it looks good... alex i was a little upset knowing that i was going to have to drive my NA all weekend but when i jumped in it for the first time on friday, im not going to lie. that thing felt like it ran a 10 in the 1/4 since i haven't felt any acceleration for a month... so for now its not that bad.

sorry about being an ass about making the date saturday... i guess if everyone on here can make it sunday minus me then push it back a day and alex can drive my car

:tease: NOT!!!! but seriously, everyone tally it up saturday/sunday.

Saturday here.

maybe see you guy's at alex's first thing in the morning?

:dsm:

What's stopping you from tuning the setup yourself? If you performed the upgrades yourself, then it shouldn't be any more difficult honestly...

I've tuned my '91 VR-4 @ 1bar effortlessly in a single night session. 4th gear + 15G's @ 1bar + 70* IAT's = extremely fast road eating.

Here's a cropped section of a 3rd gear pull :) You can see my aggressive timing advancement

I wouldn't call it street racing but giving some kid a 30sec lesson in street ediquite :D, but at the same time I don't normally do that except the kid was riding my bumper for about 2 miles any normal day I would just be cruising comfortably.

Install the fuel pump and rewire it for now. Hold off on the injectors till u get a special fogger fuel rail for the 2nd stage of nitrous because tuning is easier this way instead of having to retune when you install the extra injectors. :sneaky:

Does anyone have tools to work on some rust bubbling on the hatch portion, I have about 2 to 3 spots that have started to show and quite frankly it is upsetting me, I know the previous owner probably used spray paint as it don't look "right" to me.

Anyone in the La Mesa area that has been to the autozone El Cajon blvd and La Mesa blvd address 7791 El Cajon Blvd, La Mesa? I always drive past it and the place seems huge with a pretty large parking lot and not very busy would probably be a pretty decent place to hang out at.

I've got sand paper and primer and all that stuff as long as the rust is not all the way through the metal. I could help you cover the spot but you would have a primer spot til you get it painted. Let me know if you wanna come up.
