Not yet been pretty busy lately with work I havn't even un-hatched my hood since the meet haha. Only other projects I have on my list is: bubbling paint on hatch, swapping out sunroof with new one, fixing sunroof headliner (need glue I think), replace brakes and shocks, engine bay work (cleaning and replacing parts) and I want to start gathering pieces to swap my brown interior with black and Leather seating. Thats my immediate list.

Keith, I won't be attending the Eastlake meets for a while as I focus on other things; last few weeks' worth of assignments before finals and attaining more parts for my upgrade. The "local" forum, as you already know, has given me a very bad impression of the crowd there anyway. Have fun!

Oh ok I see, yeah I didn't go either I actually haven't there been for about a month, waiting and hoping that it would change, but come to find out that it has actually gotten worse.

Last meet that I've gone to was fusion, and that's only because my friend had begged me to go with him since he didn't want to go alone.

That's good news Jerry! I should be done with finals by then if you wanted to or have anything to tinker with on your car. Have you removed the BCS restriction as I mentioned at the meet?

Haha the last few weeks including finals are always "crunch time" as I call it. So close, yet so far from summer!

Yeah man.. it has progressively become worse with each passing week. It's as if it opened the doors for a bunch of retards and ricers to gather up ! Fusion is actually pretty nice SOMETIMES. I used to attend weekly two years ago before I started recently showing on the Wednesday Euro nights. I say "sometimes" because there are some cocky **** AWJ guys and then there are the more mature cool ones. It's pretty much the same ordeal with any platform/forum =/

This has always been on my mind. Why in the world would anyone schedule a weekday meet friday or a saturday would be better you know! get off of work or get done with classes shower up and meet up around like 5 or 6pm start BBQ and drinking and spend like 4 or 5 more hours just BS'ing or tearing into cars on the spot. Or an all day Saturday meet starting at like 9 or 10am and really get some projects going hehehe. This is what I used to do in Japan as everyone knew Friday and Saturday to meet at Daikoku futo express stop on the yoko-yoko / shuto interchange, which sometimes could rival with Tokyo Auto show on a good turn out.

My automatic GST is now a manual GSX... finally! After a two and a half week install and lots of blood sweat and tears from my good friend dan (sd_ff99) and me it's complete.
So when's the next DSM meet? We should all just try and make a big showing at fusion or eastlake... There's always a ton of honduhs, why don't we make there be a ton of DSMs?

i was looking at that. it almost seems to good to be true. and im not sure but i think the guy likes the color blue....but a simple paint job can fix that. but if i had the money i would probly buy it. if it looks good in real life that is.

and nah i dont really hit the bars to much. i gotta save money haha. and im sure you know a night at a bar can be pretty expensive.

Cool im located in Chula Vista and im 24. I should be working regular hours after this week (which means getting out at 3pm) as far as meets and hanging out goes. There is quite a bit of guys down here in this area. I thought some guys mentioned going to the races this friday. Dont know if I'll make it cause i been so busy working to hopefully pay my car off this week. Next on my list is to try and install a ebay camber kit. Let us know if you need some help.

So how hard was it?

going into this swap id give this a 10 out of 10 on the difficulty charts... now that its over it wasn't bad at all, its just putting in the hours to do it gets rough. I know dan and i were working from 3pm to 10pm nearly every night but we took pictures every step of the way so it felt like something was being accomplished every night. Dan and I just broke it up into small jobs instead of trying to do everything at once and i think thats what made it easier too. I can tell you one thing though, everytime i jump in it now im smiling from passenger side to driver side.
