hey ogamigst(jason), my bro and my friend chris doom at deeps garage can do anything you want with that engine and car, also your car wont make 500rwhp yet it does have the potential to make that. it is a inline 6 cylinder equivalent to the supra 2jz inline 6, but your rb25 will give you enough horse power to drift close to 300rwhp with more potential later which is what you wanted, do you have some stiff suspension and a welded diff or lsd to get you sideways. also a popular website for 240sx cars alike is zilvia.com

Awesome man thank you, yeah the Diff is welded and it's a single piece drive shaft I am soo happy to get this little piece of a skyline R33, when I start her up it makes me think of how I'm going to get the body to match the sound

very true mine is lighter and less expensive and not likely to be crushed due to the national import law on almost everyone that was sold in the US under a certian Import company that was doing it through the black and the grey market I have a friend with one still being held by the government and EPA even though he went through every legal hoop they put him through. They are holding a couple of thousand that earn't even apart of this Import but because they are the R32-34 series they are effected. Personally I don't want to own a "real" skyline unless I lived in europe where they are a dime a dozen.

I guess it's not really that expensive, all that it would take are fenderovers for the rear fender widening $70, $120 for the front fenders, $300 for R33 headlights, R33 front bumper cover $80 and then $200 for the rear end lighting so in the end about 1k al of the hard stuff was already done when they put in the R33 RB25det engine, in order to do that the front clip needs to be taken off of a R33 and put on the S13. That is one reason why the swap is so expensive and another reason why this trade was FREAKIN AMAZING

Yes I do, and there are ton of Nismo parts everywhere. I also am being backed by a few peeps I've meet that are going to help me out with learning these cars starting with the engine and electrical wiring as of tomorrow it'll only cost me a 12 pack of beer and few hour hours of hanging out and shooting the breeze

I have my wife's 2g to play with and beef up to her 300hp, so I'm JDM/DSM just keeping interesting and fun. You do realize that it has a RB25det R33 Skyline motor in right?

I see that all the time in the hangout section when guys ask the forum what they think about trading their DSM for.. I wish you would of kept your GST. Who knows what's gonna Happen to it now, the next guy may part it, crash it or break it. I'll never sell any of my cars. I've had my GSX almost 10 years and the GST almost 9 years. The VR4 will always be there too.

You might want to read a few pages back, the transmission blew in it and it was my daily driver with absolutely no money in my pocket. I traded my finished GST for his finished Skyline drift car, I was also having major problems with no resulotions with my car due to lack of knowledge and people to hang out with on a regular basis, tuning and other random stuff that comes with not really getting the information needed. The new owner has more money than I do and didn't mind the issues and has friends with DSMs that hang out with him all the time and are down to just haning out and working on each others cars. You have to realize and I've said this soo many times before...I don'thave money for things that are over $300 at all, no credit, no mommy, no daddy only school debt and a daughter and a wife and a work schedual that changes all the time so I can't get a second job sooo. I guess I could have walked the 10 miles to work or took the 3 broken DSMs that were offered as trade including the awesome GSX with knocking rod that was a cool one
