that would be great, but i think we would have a hard time finding a publishing company that would do it for a reasonable price. the amount of people that would subscribe or buy it wouldn't be high enough for them to turn a profit. unlike honda/acura who have a very big tuning community with the rsx, accord, civic, integra and so on. where as mitsubishi ony has the eclipse tuners.(laser and talon respectively too) and there aren't too many people out there that are doing anything with the new eclipses so that doesn't really help out to much either, but thats ok cause those cars are $hitty imo. hopefully the new evo will get more people into mitsu again and wanting a dsm mag. either way you got my vote for a subscription

I would subscribe in a heart beat. The only dsms you see in mags usually are the ones with body kits, huge wings, etc. Your total sleeper dsm isnt considered. Larryd wanted to send in his car to super street but looks wise he does not have the super street attire. Let me know when the publication will be out!

If you did want to do it...all the money for the mag wouldn't be from subscriptions alone. You could sell space for advertisements (they may be annoying but that is what will finance the mag). Just an idea.

How many freaking times are you going to post the same thing in different forums? This makes at least three times in three different forums I've seen you post the same thing. And in every thread you get the same link to the same DSMtalk thread about another guy doing what you're talking about. Do you not read the replies to your own threads?

Actually, it was three forums, not two-- apparently you can't even keep track of it yourself. And I'm not going to stand idly by and watch someone clog up the boards with stuff that clearly belongs only in the Hangout. I understand you are excited about this idea, and yes, it's a good one, but one post is enough. Besides, multiple-posting is against the dsmtuners rules, and you were cautioned about that by a moderator a few days ago. Sorry if I'm coming across like a jerk-- I just got a little peeved.

i wouldn't because I'm damn cheap. I go to barnes and noble sometimes just to sit and read 4 or 5 car magazines in a couple hours. Never buy anything you can get for free. (that should be the kazaa motto)

DSMs in general? im sure we got a lot of coverage back in the day.. 95-99 when the car was still available.. but every now and then we show up on all the popular magazines.. Sport Compact Car.. Turbo.. Super STreet.. even Import Tuner.. sometimes with exlcusive 4G63 features for it.. look around..

Not that I know of, I usually get Turbo Magazine they have articles on DSMs sometimes , Import Tuners June issue has a 4g63 tunning buyers giude FYI.
A magazine for DSMs only would be cool though.

On one of the boards there was a huge thread about making a DSM magazine.

I've seen a few part installs and stuff in Turbo and other magazines, but DSM's don't get the coverage they should. They'd rather install cold air intakes on a Honda...

I'd like to see a magazine where they buy a clean 1G for $2500 and put $1000 in mods in the car and run 12's....

The 97-99 Eclipse is a gorgeous car, but kids would rather buy an ugly car and make it more ugly....
