I'm looking to get a supra smic for my 2g GST. All the sites are down that shows the install for it. Does anyone have any other information or pictures of the install. Also i read somewhere that you cant run the injen intake with the supra SMIC because you have to move the UICP and the filter and intake really wont fit all in that same area. Is this true?

I've been waiting on DSMunknown to post pics of his install in this thread. It looks like just about every IC pipe kit will need some form of modification to work with the Supra MkIV SMIC. DSMunknown seems to have found a way that works with stock IC pipe locations.

read my latest post. the UICP will be higher than the stock placement. however, i did not need to do any cutting of any kind to complete this install.

ok, ok. yes i did cut up some zip ties and part of the passenger-side wheelwell splash shield, but those things are so minor that you should not sweat it. fyi any minor cutting i did easily with a box cutter.

There are a few different links on this thread.

That's the same link that I listed. The only ones that work and have pictures that show up are for 1g applications, but in reading the one 2g install site (all the images were missing), there was a lot of jerryrigging involved. DSMunknown's approach sounds a lot more appealing ... but nobody has seen it ;) ;)
