I've read through a bunch of the phantom knock threads and tried some things and I'm still having issues. Any time I go above 2300rpm whether it be in neutral, in any gear... I get 8-9 counts of knock. If I do a pull and decel I get 8-9 counts of knock until 2300rpm. I installed a new knock sensor, tried messing with the tune a bit. MrPeepers helped me get a tune setup on the car. The AFR looks good... I just got done doing a pull, let the car sit for 10-15 minutes and swapped plug wires. I fired it up, free revved it to 3500, 4K... a few times and no knock. I pull out of my driveway, just ease up to speed and all of a sudden I get knock above 2300rpm again. I made a "Det can" using my stethoscope and can't hear anything that sounds out of the ordinary. I bolted it to the block and secured it using the knock sensor. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Have you doubled check to see if the knock sensor has loosened? I have seen then back out a bit and cause knock symptoms.

same problem...any ideas??

You are running ECMlink v3, I would go into the ecu and change the knock setting to only appear above 2800 rpm and 30% throttle position.

DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. This is used for people who know what their problem is and can compensate, the last think you want is to ignore knock in your car. I, personally, get counts of knock do to lifter tick, I set my ECMlink to the setting above and I dont receive knock counts anymore, but that is because I know where the knock is coming from.

Knock sensor is tight. The car is a 95, with a 6 bolt swap, 99 ECU with tuning using EVOScan & Ceddymods.
