Ok so my 95 TSI AWD gets towed, paperwork says they used dollies and it had "All Wheel Drive" written on the window, but im assuming the noted all this after they realized they broke something because there are problems with the car. But after i got it back when i take off it sounds like a peice of plastic cover is going thru my 6 spoke rims, and rubbing everyone, like a baseball card in a bicycle wheel. But thats not the case, because i looked for obstructions and cant see any obvious ones. Also random pops occur and it feels like something vibrates thru the pedals to where i can feel the pop thru my feet when it happens, it reminds me of the time i drove my 90 TSI AWD without transfer case fluid and it popped randomly and then eventually a few miles later locked up completely at 40 mph, i dont know what the pops are but i can feel them thru mainly the clutch pedal, just a slight vibration at my foot. and im also not sure what the noise is that increases with speed and decrease when i slow down, but the only way i can describe it is like some plastic peice is protruding into my wheel and hits all 6 spokes on the rotation. But im sensing its the axle or something. Thanks for the help!

Hello,

The towing company most likely destroyed something internal. You will more then likely not be able to see whatever it is making the noises and vibrations since it's going to be metal on metal within the drivetrain. If I were you, I'd contact the towing company to tell them you are having problems. The sooner the better, so they do not thing that you've damaged the car yourself. Tell them that you will be taking the car to a Mitsubishi specialist to have the car inspected. I'm assuming you are from SoCal by your user name, so give Road Race Engineering a call and make an appointment.
