I run it. Not in my DSM but in all my high performance 2 stroke stuff. Basically I was around it alot coming up through the ranks of 2 cycles. I tore down these engines alot and know that Amsoil is good oil. You can also run it in alot leaner mixtures(oil to gas mixtures)which means it don't lower the octane rating of your fuel so bad. I believe now there are just as good oils for 2 strokes but it's just what I'm used to now. I do run full synthetic in my racing vehicles though. Royal Purple.

I use amsoil in both my dsm's, and my previously owned dsm's. Love the stuff.

I used it all summer. It's a bit pricey but I only changed my oil twice this summer so it wasn't too bad.

I'm also using Amsoil and I love it. It really helped decrease lifter tick, 'till it gets really cold out. A lot better than any other oil I've used.

Oil choice threads have been done to death, with the outcome being you have to look very, very hard to find an inadequate oil in this day and age. And no, Pennzoil won't make things blow up.
