Amp and Speaker install help

Okay I'm getting kind of pissed.

I have an Alpine CDE-9852
I have Infinity Kappa speakers in the rear and front
I have a Infinity 475a amp
I spent all day laying new 14ga wire throughout the Talon
All speaker wire is installed correctly in the amp
Remote wire from amp is connected to the correct remote wire on headunit
I installed the power from the amp to the positive terminal on the battery
I grounded the amp to the body of the car

Amp is receiving proper power, it's illuminating.

No sound. Not from radio. Not from Cd's.

Any ideas?

do you have the RCA CABLES CONNECTED?

Did my install about a week ago...hooked power and ground up backwards on my 4Ch and wondered why my battery tried to light me on fire when I hooked the hot wire up.

Good times.

Curious...do you have 14Ga powering the amp? That's a bit slim IMO. I wouldn't do any smaller than 8Ga...4Ga being ideal.

Benny boy runs 4g minimum and a high current ANL fuse spl pressure level of 168

I'm running 14ga on the speaker wire.
4ga to battery
4ga to ground
16ga to remote
