Ok so replaced my alternator yesterday (broke the tensioner assembly by the way) but fixed it, the question is, is it ok for the voltage to be at 14.3 while driving and over 1000 rpms and then when you shut the car off should it go down to 12 right away is this correct? also when your idleing what should the voltage be? thanks
