what is the difference between the manual alternators and automatic alternators for the 1.8 motors? autozone lists two diffrent alts. I'm in the middle of a auto to manual swap and I'm buying an alternator soon. What is the difference?

I dont know for a fact but an educated guess would be that the auto altenator has a slightly higher amp rating for the extra current draw from the tcu. Physically, there should be no difference at all.
