Ok...dumb question here. I ripped out the 7-bolt a few months back and had trouble getting my hands on a 6-bolt so it has been awhile since looked at how everything is susposed to go. Car = 95 Talon Tsi AWD 5sp. I have everthing bolted to the engine on a "hoist" and I cannot remember exactly how the alternator and power steering pumps fits on the bracket. I have the manual on CD and have looked through it and have not been able to see how the bracket that allows you to tighten the Alternator goes back on the car. I am susposed to use the 2G and not the 1G bracket correct?
If someone has a picture of this side of a completed engine or a explanation of it that would be great.
Thanks,
MM

Thank you very much...and that is the 2G bracket correct?
Next question. I could/can use a 2G style throttle body on my 1G swap (complete 1G head/intake installed), but it is not common since it the 2G is so much smaller right? Reason I ask, is that I found a bored 2G that is 60mm (same as the 1G) with all new seals for a few bucks more than I can find a 91-94 style 1G.
