Well I almost have my 1g gsx dsm finished, the only problem is that I removed my calipers to paint and the rear left side is not working at all. I'm currently havinga problem just finding a caliper reasonably priced for it. I'd like to be able to get the caliper as Ill have my fuel pressure regulator coming in within the week and will have the car ready to started and tuned.

Anyone got any ideas or places I could buy a used caliper. Ive tried junkyards
around my area and there are 0 eclipses in all of them.

Are you sure your pushing it in right? You need to use a special tool that spins the piston as you push it in. Go to dsmtuners classifieds and post a want to buy (WTB) ad and I'm sure someone will have it for you.

You can buy them at your local autozone for under $15, no need to wait for shipping.

I've always just used a pair of needle nose or vice grips for those types of calipers, never had a problem.

question: did you bleed the brakes properly? is the seal leaking? i would rebuild it if your mechanically inclined or just buy a new caliper.. I just replaced all my calipers with new ones cost me around 200.00 one of the best investments i did so far on the talon.. Ran into the early model 95 issues with mine so i had the bigger vented rear rotors so i just converted mine to the late model calipers and rotors so i do not have a issue anymore with purchasing rear rotors.. good luck
