1G Allen plugs on head - rtv or thread lock

So I got my head back today. Do you use thread lock or rtv on the Allen plugs on the head? When I removed them, it looked like thread lock.

I called my machine shop and they recommended a thread sealant with ptfe or just ptfe tape itself. I used both options on visible allens just to see if it would work since I too had some work done somewhat recently. So far, neither of them have started leaking. Heres the stuff I used.

Thanks for input Perry! I was told it wasn’t necessary by Curt Brown who’s a dsm head specialist. I should have it all back together this week. I will update this post.
