I just lowered my friends '97 GS....my question is, after i lowered it, it pulls to the left as soon as you hit the accelerator....he said it never did that before it was lowered....he took it to the shop to see if it needs to be aligned, the mechanic told him that the tie-rod is loose, didn't specifically say if it was the ends or not....i was just wondering if any of you would know what it could be and is it common for DSM's to do this after you lower it? thanx in advance....

There's nothing about lowering your car that would affect the tie rod. Afterall, you "lower" it every time you ride over a bump. Your tie rod shouldn't be loose anywhere except the end. Pretty easy to replace but unfortunately you need to have the alignment checked again.

thanks for the info....i'm using his username right now by the way....anyways, i just feel guilty now since it never did that before i lowered it and i know that i didn't touch it....the outer tie-rod ends look fairly simple, but what about the inner tie-rod ends???? thanx again for the help....
