iv had my talon almost 2 years and the alarm has never gone off before and today it started going off at random. I didint even think that it worked so it was a surprise to me. I dont know what is setting it off and was wondering if anyone knew what triggered it or were the sensior is that activates the alarm so I can fix it or disconect it. trying to open the doors doesnt set it off. please help

I had the same problem last week. Disconnect your positive battery terminal for 10 seconds and reconnect it.

you haven't had a frt end accident lately have you? if so the hood latch my need to be ajusted. my 97 esi did the same thing, it would go off with no one around. this went on for about 2 weeks. found out that the hood was moving just enough from sitting in the sun or the shade to set it off. talk about sensitive.

Glad to hear it fixed the problem.
There should be a sensor underneath the hood around the power steering area hanging on the fender, it's a push down looking thing that looks like a switch.
