Thanks. I was thinking about running some 3k hid in the fogs because the yellow light that it emits, makes everything out there pop instead of blending.
 
I would go with some rally lights like pia's anything over 100 watts and make it pencil beam configuration they worked out great on my wrx. I drove on some open mountain roads to go to work also along with some silverstar bulbs what a difference, Later I switched to driving / fog light that you could adjust like a maglight beam. Good luck with your dicision

Yes it does! HID's already does that.. But even more so with the amber HID's. Anything reflective... instantly visible. eye shine from an animal. The road like just pops!
 
Why not just get proper off road lights with the correct beam pattern for your application?

That would be too easy. ROFL But still looking, waiting to see how my roommates HID's are going to look. Not using the flip-ups. going to place a projector housing behind the clear lens. Wish me luck.
