Ok
well I was wondering if air passes through the turbo spoiler at highway speeds? the reason i ask is because i know that our spoiler is rather useless when it comes to down force, but maybe if there was something like what the lexus Is350 has put on the end of the car between or slightly after the spoiler that could improve that function 10 fold. The reason being that the bottom of the spoiler is like a big scope and would direct a large amount of air to the lip or wing. Similar to what a viper uses but no as obstructing.

The purpose for this is that fwd car would have better traction at higher speed while still maintain stock in appearance. Also my fiancee drives a gst and would improve her rain traction. and possible peoples track times if there is some extra fore on the back of the car.

I hate the huge metal spoilers that i see on our cars sometimes but i do see a the function for them but i would want something to produce more down force while maintaining stock look.

Call me crazy but I have an idea of how to get it to work. but wanted to get some opinions before i set off on my small journey.

And as we showed in the Add A Mod, you can never go wrong by adding a scope.

The DSM spoilers are for looks. You could fiddle with it to add more drag, but that'd be about the extent of your "gains".

Im not saying do something to the factory spoiler If you have seen the Is 350 it has just a small lip on the end. Now with that said if you were to put something on the trunk behind the spoiler where all of that air is being funneled to than maybe we could take advantage of the stock spoiler not doing anything. Like i said similar to whats on the back of the viper or z06 vet.

It's a FWD. Honestly, what kind of traction are you looking to gain with a spoiler in the rear on a FWD car? If you want traction, get a GSX.
