if any one has fixed this prob. cheaply please tell me how because myfundsarelow. it seems to be a terminal disease with me and this car,].sorry it took so long to get back. no smoke at all, maybe a little black(carbon) when i get happy with the go peddle at first. pcv valve is brand new and functional(i checked). didnt check the turbo seal. i bought turbo brand new (16g) and it only has about 3000 miles on it now. still a little foggy on how to test it.oldman said:Did you test the turbo seal and pcv before the compression test like the other thread suggested? In any case like psychlow said, although 145 is not ideal, it's still within service limits. The little difference in dry and wet test also suggested that the rings are OK. Are you smoking under any conditions? What lead you to the pressure test in the first place? Give us more details on what else you have tried besides the compression test.
