When I got in an accident in my Ram a couple of years ago, I saw the accident coming and braced my self by putting my hands at about 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock (usually drive with left hand, at about 11 or 12 o'clock) the only injury i sustained was a slight burn on the tip of my nose and lip, and very minor abrasions on the inner forearms from the deployment. My face didn't even touch the air bag, and I hit pretty hard, at least hard enough to total my truck.

airbags are useless if you're one of the people running racing buckets and 4 point harnesses :)

Well I Installed a new momo steering wheel last week unhooked the battery bla bla after the install damn srs light was on, so i did some research on air bad dummys or air bag simulators I didnt want to remove the bulb in tach cause the code will still be in air bag system. And was worried about inspection, do to the fault coming up on the scanner soo i found the perfect fix and cheap Kent-Moore Air Bag Dummy Load Tool EL-46867: eBay Motors (item 180512415171 end time Aug-21-10 15:32:04 PDT)

i ordered it hoping it would fit perfect and fair enough worked like a charm plugged right into factory harness plug on driver side, BUT then u still have that bulky clock spring to deal with. So what i did was cut the small air bag harness off the clock spring side and connect to the main air bag connection this way you dont damage your factory harness. connect the dummy stick it away in steering column and have a buddy with a snap on scanner erase your srs light and no more srs light for under 20 bucks.
