Where do you buy them? Or what did you use to make them.

In case you are wondering which ones I mean, I'm referring to the bushings that holds the shifter cable bracket to the transmission. Not the symborski kit or the skateboard bearings at the end of the cables.

I'm curious because there is a lot of slop in that bracket and it moves around by just grabbing it!OMG

The part number from mitsubishi is MD723290. You need two of them. Right now Ive been driving without those in place with no ill effects. The only difference that Ive noticed was where the shifter is positioned, it sits a little off to the right and it seems like 1st and 3rd are a tad closer together.

:edit: both of the codes return the same part number and the qty is 4 so just order 1 set.

Thanks, Steve, but I wasn't referring to OEM ones. I meant aftermarket ones that take the slop out of the shifter. Someone used to offer them. I'm just not sure who it is now, and I'm looking with no avail. I thought Extreme Motorsports had them, but I guess I was wrong.

my car came with a machined aluminum piece that bolts on the outside. its one piece not seperate like the stock ones. no idea where he bought it from though.

I dunno. It must be my imagination about those bushings.

But it still doesn't change the fact that that bracket moves way too much.

Im sorry, I wasnt aware you were looking for aftermarket ones. My bracket was loose becuase one of the bushings were cracked so I remeoved them all together and I drove it from april until the 3rd week in oct when I stored my car and I plan on keeping it that way. Im not telling you to do this, Im just saying it worked for me.

I thought about that, but I really wasn't sure if it was a "good idea" or not. I guess I could just get some washers and go that route.

I took some washers and put them to a grinder until they pressed into the hole nicely. Now there is no play.

99RedGST... I think that's them. I should contact Extreme and ask the directyl then. Thanks!

Thats the same metal bushing piece as what I have. Let me know if anybody finds them for sale
