WTF does that have to do with anything?

Maybe you should PM if you are curious.

I gotta wonder why the import guys are doing the same stuff now all the serious high specific output auto racing engine builders went away from back in the goddamn 70's and 80's.

If any of you get the opportunity to look *inside* the heads and manifold of even a 5 year old Pro Stock you'd #@%#@%#@%#@%. Ignore the outside it means nothing.

...This scares the #@%#@%#@%#@% out of me... that your giving advice like this, without all the background information....

WTF are you talking about??? Show me ONE thing wrong with the technical information I provided.

...Btw, which "fast" cars have you seen run the venom manifold? There is a reason people don't use it, it flows for ****. I know someone who had one, and he "upgraded" to a 1g manifold later on, and gained power. Not exactly good IMO....

I already answered that question when KenTSI asked it. Both Sean Glazer and Brent Rau ran Venom manifolds. Do they count as fast?

...By the way, when was the last time your car ran as fast as marco's?...

Never. I don't have as much money, nor as many parts in my car as he does. It really is that simple. Argue with that statement, and you are an idiot.

...I'm not trying to say my car is fast even, but before you go and start talking about someone's products (which are proven), make sure you have enough background (ie: wrenching time) prior to your trash talk....

Yeah, their products are proven to move the power band way up in the rev range where a DSM tranny has trouble shifting anyway. While he is waiting for that 8500rpm redline to come around, the guy making more torque will already be pulling away. And make sure I have enough wrenching time???? Are you on crack? Do you have any idea how many motors I have built, cars I have tuned, how much wrenching I have actually done? No, you don't. You are making a statement because you are an internet bad boy.

Regards,

P.S. Polk, your intake manifold looks pretty nice...I'll have to check into more details on it.

i don't know why you guys always argue with aslan...he's one of the few people on this board that i actually read his entire post because i know i'm probably going to learn something from it. do you see anyone else writing 1000 word essays trying to help/explain things to other people? he may have a crass way of saying things, but you really can't argue with the main points of what he says.

anyways, the polk manifold looks great, any pictures of the runner inlets from inside the plenum?

OK. The originals posters question was "Who makes aftermarket intake manifolds for a 2G?", Not, "Who's is better? Let's start a flame war about it"

I believe we listed all of them and now that person can research and choose which will work best with his application.

Thread Closed.

I think this is the part that got everyone upset... Nobody here is saying you're not knowledgable, nor that you can't actually do what you say you can do, but the fact that you're passing off a highly respected tuner's work as bad and giving a "guarantee" that you could do it better. This is just my observation of how this thread went south. Hopefully we'll learn from this and can avoid this type of thing in the future.
