and when i floor it sometimes it goes down to zero. when i let off the gas, sometimes it shoots up to 60. idk, my car starts up fine and throws no CEL lights. i have a 92 galant vr4. im assuming my sending unit might be bad cause it was working fine when i bought the car? ive done a few searched but wanted to see if this was a lil different. thank you

which gauge do you have? check the wiring on the sending unit if it came loose.... and if that doesnt work then yea the sending unit is probably bad....

ill check in the morning thank you. btw, my car runs absolutely normal and fine, is there anything else thats a sign i REALLY only have 20psi oil pressure max? isnt there something else that would let me know im totally screwed?

Stewart Warner MP gauge sending units are horrible. I would get a new gauge. And your car oil pressure is at 20psi is at high Rpms

no other reason to run 20psi of oil pressure unless your at idle and the car is fully warmed the only time my car's oil pressure goes to 20psi is when im at idle around 900-1000rpm
