aftermarket flexplate?

I know it says to use arp Allen bolts but I don't trust that too much Allen bolt heads seem to strip too easy. Anyone else care to chime in?

You should be fine with the allen head bolts as long as you use the right allen socket on it. I do agree with you though, the allens do tend to strip a lot easier. Does anyone know what length bolt you need when running two stock flex plates?

It think it makes sense that you would have to run two starter plates if you're running two flex plates.

Also I've been talking to a member on the forums that he thinks is running an auto rear diff with a manual trans. Is this possible? What would happen if I just threw in my auto trans with the manual diff?

I think that would destroy your center diff rather quickly. Different gear ratios in the auto rear and manual rear.

I run two stock flex plates, welded together, no spacer and stock bolts (properly torque'd) with red lock-tite. No problems yet. I may try to find some longer, stronger bolts at some point, but the problem you'll run into is finding a bolt with a very thin, high strength head - there isn't much clearance in there, so I'd really like to hear what Kiggly did to get allen head bolts to work without them smashing against the block.
