Aftermarket engine mounts worth getting?

i ran over 400 on the stock mounts for a long time.

I then got new mounts because my stockers were ripping. (saw it when i was doing my turbo swap)

I absolutly hate the new mounts. They are way to stiff and my car sounds like it is just rattling itself to death. I never heard rattling with the stock mounts.

I will soon be going back to NEW STOCK mounts.

It all depends if you like the vibration being transfered to other parts of the car. I know on my AWD auto it isn't all that bad. I would like to add that I have full poly in both the engine mounts and whatever available poly bushing they have for th esuspension and I love the crisp and quick response I get when taking the car to it's limits. I would go for it.

Poly mounts are one of the best modifications hands down. I've herd solid front and rears are better than poly, but would be weary of using them on a DD

Depending on how you want the feel of your car you should run solid rear and front mounts with poly side mounts. This will give you the quickest throttle response, because of how it limits how much the motor moves, but like previously stated if it's on a DD it takes getting use to.
