GVR-4 Aftermarket CV Front Axels (Rockauto.com)

Okay, so I recently acquired a set of front axels from Rockauto.com. I found these within the menu of a 1991 Galant VR-4 and the prices were ridiculously low. I decided to buy them with no intention of using them so that I could share my findings.

DISCLAIMER: Always use OEM parts when possible. Cheap Chinese stuff will take your life!

Here is my order sheet for BOTH front Axels. Yes that price is for BOTH. There were some less expensive options I decided to get the highest priced ones available.

The biggest thing I noticed was how much THICKER these cheap ones were.

Im not really sure how to interpret this information. It looks to me like there are incorrect ends on both applications with no chance to bolt right in as-is. Do you really want to Frankenstein these things to make them work? Definitely not.

Ill be sending these back to Rockauto. I tried to be a Guinea Pig for you guys so if you want me to check measurements or anything like that before i send them back let me know!

You do know you have the axles mixed up in the pics right? I've used remand axles before with no issues. As for the thickness of the shaft it's a little over an 1/8th in difference.

that makes a little more sense. How long have you used these axels? These are new axels not remanufactured according to the part description if that changes anything.
