Just put a 60mm throttle body on my 2g tsi awd yesterday, and now its running like crap. we re-adjusted the throttle position sensor according to the instructions made by roadraceengineering and it helped a little but not much. my question is, should i have to re-tune my car since i put the bigger throttle body on? (we are tuning with a GM MAF and translator) currently the idle bounces up and down between 1000 and 3000rpm, and when i drive it it feels like it felt with a new turbo and injectors but no tuning...thanks in advance

1. Check for intake leaks
2. Did you reuse your ISC (is it a known working ISC?)
3. Did you remove the throttle stop/idle switch
4. Are you using a 2g TPS (has built in idle switch)
5. Are the throttle cables properly installed (not partially open at idle)

No you do not need to retune the car.

my money is on that u didnt reset the BISS. ;) minor things can cause a big issue. that would explain the iddle but as for running like crap, take a log and see what the tps is reading. the only logical things other than the tps sensor being bad is that the throttle cables need to be adjusted properly. either way the tps reading off your logger with pick up these problems.

i also just thought that maybe you didnt get a positive seal on the throttle body or throttle body elbow gasket and you have a boost leak.
