Ok, i did a leak test while back and had a leak around the TB area so i took it off, cleaned it up, put on new seals, rings, biss screw, and gaskets. Well i didnt read about adjusting the biss screw so i just took old one out and put new one in and did best i could but i know its out of adjustment. I didnt mark the TPS where it was and put it back on and did some minor adjusting to it once it was already installed back on car so its now exactly right but kinda close. But the problem now is that my throttle sticks open 90% of time while im driving, enough to make it idle at like around 1200-2400 rpm. Very annoying. When it does this i can stick my foot behind my gas pedal, and bring the pedal towards like, like the opposite of pushing it in, and it will usually fix the problem, but everytime i accelerate and then come to a stop sign or light or have to slow down i have to raise the pedal back up to stop the high idle. I never had this problem before i did the work on the TB, i fixed the leaks that were there, but cuase this sticky open throttle =(

So i figured i could just buy a bored out 60mm TB for my 2g, i already have new ICS and TPS sensors just incase either of them are bad, and was just wondering is there any specific way to install and adjust the ICS, do i just unscrew the old one and put new one on? Once i get the TPS off i know how and what to adjust it to, but dont know anything bout the ICS and dont want to make things worse than i already have. Thanks.

The isc is just bolted in with 2 bolts, nothing else to do there. Also, if you removed the TB make sure to check if you possibly put the throttle cable in entirely too tight. That can be an issue, OR you put something back together way too tight. I'd check the cable first before you tear everything back apart.

could you explain the throttle cable being entirely too tight in a little more detail, ### if anything i was thinking maybe it was too loose, but i wouldnt know how to loosen or tighten the cable tho. One day while in park i was just barely reving the engine ### it was cold and just warming it up some and the cable came completely out of track, like it was still connected but it fell out of its grove, and sometimes when cars off if i manually push the throttle down under the hood opening and closing it, it will come out of its tract, but i dont know how to adjust it to make it more loose or tight, some people have said that it may have a little too much slack in it but i dont know.

More then likely when you took the TB apart, you either didn't wind up the springs correctly & you no longer have the correct tension or the TB plate isn't properly centered in the TB bore causing it to rub on the wall & stick abit. I found when I did mine you had to tighten one side of the TB shaft before the other or in wouldn't center properly in the bore & hang up.

Either way Steve at www.throttlebodys.com does bored out 2g throttlebody that will be a direct bolt on if that the route you want to go. You can get a remanufactured unit off him or send yours in to be remanufacted.

Just thought I'd add, you adjust the throttle cable tension with the throttle cable mounting cable that attached to the back of the intake mani. If you follow the cable back from the TB you will see a bracket attached to the mani with 2 bolts. If you losen these bolts you are able to slide the mount back and forth to add or reduce tension.
