1G After FP replacement Fuel Gauge is not reading right

Replaced stock pump with walbro 255, now the fuel gauge is not reading right.. what do I need to do to fix this..

re check your wiring and check the fuel sending unit and floater

Im pretty sure its the floater. Mine did the same thing. Mine fixed itself. Im guessing that when It ran low and I filled it back up it moved the floater or something. I didnt want to tear everything back apart so im glad it fixed itself.

are you just trying to raise your count or something that wasnt even helpful ### so ever.

coolrider try filling up your tank it might reset the sender.
mine did something weird it would go all the way down and all the way full like twice and then i read right im assuming it was like a self check function. i hope this helps some.

Thing is that the sensor on the sending unit is incredibly sensitive and fragile. You want to be extremely careful not to bump the little arm when handling the unit and dont ever lay the unit down on the arm. You can pull it back out and gently pull the arm all the way up to simulate having a full tank and turn on the key and see if the gauge comes all the way up. If it doesnt then see if the contacts on the sensor are in need of cleaning. I cleaned mine with a q tip and it fixed my problems.
