Well long story short. Bought the car for 2,000 with a ####ed up head. Guy had the head off and rust got into the cyld walls and left pits so the block/head from there was trash unless I wanted pay ALOT for machine work. I said #### it took the 7 bolt out and had a 6 bolt put in. The shop who did it forgot to tighten correctly the timing belt and guess what it slipped and bent all the valves in my 6 bolt motor. The shop then took care of everything by fixing all problems that they caused. They put another head on the car and I had another shop check out the motor to make sure everything was ok. Thank god it was at idle when the timing belt slipped other wise all the pistons would of be ####ed up to. Thank god they were still good. So After they put the new head on and got everything corrected the car was still running like crap. Yea I know the car was sitting for sometime and I'm sure had bad gas in it but still shouldn't of run like that. It idled fine put a load on it and it would take a shit and #### up. Go to find out the car had a BIG vac leak and after that was fixed the car ran like a champ. I then took it to the speed factor (the shop i had come look at my motor) and I had them do my brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors with axxis pads and also had them check over the car and make sure everything was good to go. This coming up week they are going to put my oil pressure gauge in and alsowill be hooking my afc up but other then that the car runs VERY strong now and I gotta say I missed being in a dsm. Today it snowed and I wanted to take pics so I took some in the snow anyways. Well here is my 95 GST.

awesome! a running car is good to have :)

I do have a question tho, please dont take effense and I congratulate you for taking it to a shop if you really are incapable of modding your own car or changing the brakes. But the stuff (other then the head/timing belt work) you listed is really easy to do yourself. Brakes/rotors (after you get the wheel off) takes me about 20 mins. Seriously it is the removal of two bolts to change your rotors and pads (after wheel is off). An AFC is simply snipping and soldering a few wires after reading which colors go to which...

The mods are not hard to do at all. Only reason I didnt wanna do the 6 bolt swap is because i dont have the time to do it. I work alot. If it was a boost controller, intake, fmic, exhaust ect ect ill do it my self. things that only take a hr or two ill do it. But othe wise id rather have a shop do it so I can my other work done. but im happy its on the road. its so much fun to drive.
