hey guys ,i got an afpr and it has no instructions... i assume u gotta install it in the fuel return line right? and leave the stocker on too right? ..and the vacuum hose gos to the intake mani right?

stock fpr---return line---afp---return line
/-----vac to intake mani.

 does this look right?

so this afpr raises thge fuel pressure the second it sees boost coming from the intake plenum??

You got it all wrong. You should buy the SS afpr kit from slowboyracing for ~$100. There will be an adapter that replaces your stock FPR. So it will look like this.

fuel rail -- adapter -- SS line -- AFPR -- SS line -- fuel return line

Your going to need to feed a straight vacuum line from the intake manifold to the AFPR. When you adjust you fuel pressure your going to need to disconnect the vacuum line then set it to 38psi - 43psi or whatever N/A(turbo) guys run.

Then this is how it works. If your base FP is 43psi, -25 to -1 intake manifold pressure your FP is gunna fluctuate ~35psi. At 0 intake manifold pressure, your FP is gunna be 43psi. then above 0psi the FP is gunna raise at a 1:1 ratio. So example, when your boosting 20psi (intake mani pressure) your fuel pressure is gunna be 63psi.

Oh I didn't know the fuel rails were different. I knew my post wouldn't be perfect but I hope I pointed him in the right direction.

a fuel pressure riser..not a afpr ..my bad..i really apprieciate the help tho..

you see its a 4g63 nt in a 2g.. i then added a t25 with a 6psi wastegate ..stock ic and stock nt injerctors ..no probs yet

it runs fine now.. i installed my fuel pressure riser as i stated above..so basically its in the fuel return line..it rases fuel pressure when it sees boost..

i hope i didmnt post in the wrong forum..it is a 2g nt(just with a 4g63..not a 420a)

i do plan on getting a setup like what G9S1X told me.. a adjustable fuel pressure regulator .thanks for the advice..

Why don't they seperate this forum? I think enough people have the 420A...oh sorry I forgot, the 420A is not cool enough...... :toobad:

i think both motors are cool.. i think that if i had a 420a nt instead of this wierd eurospec 4g63 nt.. i would have had alot less work because i coulda gotten a hahn turbo kit, allotta of the guess work wouldave been eliminated ..in fact,if i could get like a 95 neon (420a 150hp..sold here..dunno bout u guys) for like 1500-2500 euros.. i would turbo it too! but its so hard to find a neon..let alone one for little cash
:thumb:

my setup is so rigged.. but i did some tinkering today and the car pulls like how it should now

so im very happy as of 10am this morning! :D

ill post pics of my setup like later today.. gonna hunt down those k20 civic type Rs *yes we got em* and beat em!

also going on a golf gti hunt LOL :dsm:

still dont have my boost guage setup.. i have no teflontape for the threading..and i think something is missing.. how am i supposed to make the plastic vacuum tube stay put in the fitting?

they shouldnt separate the forums because many of the problems and how to solve them are related.

are you saying the autometer boost gauge isnt the best design ever??? LOL i just used one of the fittings they gave, the one that screws onto the boost gauge. then i bought some vaccume hose from autozone(or whatever you have there) and clamped it on the gauge and ran it to the engine bay. much easier then messing with that shit they give you
