Hey I just got my car started after my rebuild.

I went to check my base fuel pressure and I just got a AFPR installed for this rebuild. I replaced my fuel filter and have SS line to pressure regulator and I am only get 34psi of fuel pressure with hose off, and don't really notice much of change with line back on.

I un screwed the bolt top out as far as it goes and nothing.

Any ideas?

I have a walbro 255hp and 680cc injectors with ecuflashed ecu.

Knowing which AFPR you have might help people diagnose.

If the fuel pressure doesn't change with changes to the reference port then you need to make sure that the AFPR isn't leaking pressure and that you actually have something changing at reference port.

A hand vacuum pump will help you test for both. Apply a vacuum, and make sure that it holds. Then turn the fuel pump on and watch the fuel pressure as you apply vacuum, it should track the vacuum (2 in hg = 1 psi)

Stock base fuel pressure is 43psi for a 2G. You want to turn the screw IN, not out, until you see 43psi without the vacuum line attached. It should drop to 34-36psi with vacuum. 34psi is probably as low as that regulator will go, and you are just bottomed out right now.

Thanks I got it. Works perfect. Thanks guys. I just wasn't really wanting to be screwing around a bunch with it on my 1st startup on my $4k motor. Now I just need to look up about clutch adjustment.

Where should your clutch master cylinder rod be when you bleed the clutch? My clutch seems to be up way too high, and adjustment lower then that makes the pedal feel good down. So I'm sure I bleed it when the adjustment rod was screwed too far from my previous clutch. This one is brand new 6puck I just got and I added a spacer to my fulcrum ball to get fork back within spec.
