Ok, I don't know if I'm dumb or just can't think of what to do. I guess I need some more sleep.
I am trying to connect the stainless steel line from the rail to the regulator and I can't seem to get the damn AN fittings on the line. I read vfaq and it says to tape the line, so I did and still can't get the fitting on the line. Also I'm not sure if taping the line is to mark it for cutting or just so I can squeeze the AN fitting over it. Any help??
BTW, Aeromotive AFPR kit.

I just went with the install kit from Extremepsi and set it at 43psi and it runs perfect. I don't know what to tell you but good luck cause it's a good piece.

Thats what I did also. But the -6 line they gave me was too big for the -6 an fittings. I had to go to auto zone and get better fuel line.

I have the AFPR kit from extremepsi. It came with the line and the fittings dissasembled. The ss line came with tape on the ends of the line. When I try and push the fittings on the line it just pushes down the ss, so I put tape on them to hold the ss braid down and still nothing. I'll try the oil trick but it just seems like the line is too big for the fittings. The fittings are -6AN btw. Since it came in the it shouldn't it fit? Any more ideas?

Im going to quote myself since you didn't bother reading it.

Just take your fitting with you to auto zone and take the SS hose with you and go get some Hose thats not to fat. Make sure your getting hose thats made for fuel injection vehicles.

why would you do that when you paid for a part that is supposed to work? I would talk to extreme psi and either get a refund or sent a part that will work.

Because it cost me only a couple of dollars and I'm halfway across the country.

If you expect everything that is sent to you to work and go together flawlessly with out having to make a detour here and there then you have no business working on cars.

Sorry when I read it to myself I thought it said the fitting was too big for the line. I've seen you post alot on here and all of your answers are pretty much dead on. I know that nothing thy send me will be prefect but after watching the earl video I'm going to try the vise way before buying some new line. I'll take some pictures tonight to show you guys. Btw, the afpr is bigger than I thought LOL

I didn't use a vise at all just pure strength. I will say my hand hurt like hell afterward. I have yet to mount it because the damn car is in pieces.

Thats not the point. Why argue though, Im not the one wasting money. Plus by not mentioning something to the company, they will continue to send out faulty parts since it seems it has happened more than once.
