So I tried to fire up the car for the first time right now and after a few unsuccessful attempts I noticed that the gauge on the afpr does not move at all when cranking the car. Im assuming its not normal, so I'm thinking the afpr doesn't work??

Any ideas?

Car came with a no brand afpr, 255 pump, fmic and exhaust.

It's connected to the fuel rail directly. The line at the bottom of the afpr is connected to the metal fuel line on the car. The vacuum line is connected to intake mani.

Was thinking of swapping the stock fpr and see if that will work

Ok sounds good. Have you checked to see of the pump is getting power? You can does this many ways, I used a little bulb with two wires, one hooked to the positive, the othef ground. When you turn it over it should light up!
If you're getting power, check the pump, it could faulty.

You could certainly try that too. (stock fpr)

i think the aftermarket fuel rails have to build up to the psi and is it set to stock psi

does the car start after cranking for like 5 to 10 seconds or no

When I crank it the first time it will want to turn on but shuts off, then it just cranks and cranks but no start.

I have a stock fuel rail.

I'm gonna check the fuel pump and make sure its working properly.

Ok found out that the fuel pump rewire had a wire unhooked.

The car turns on but idling bad, then about 10sec into it, the CEL turnaround on and the car shuts off.

I can keep the car on if I play with the gas but it will still have a fluttering idle.

Any ideas?
