Hey guys, I adjusted my AFPR to 37 with the vac line hooked up, but i was wondering, if i shut off the car, is my gauge supposed to go straight from 37 to 0??? If not, how do i fix this?

see how fast it drops. if your fuel pressure slowly decreases you could have a leaking injector but from hearing the symptoms that you do im assuming you lose fuel pressure immediately... this could be because the check valve in the fuel pump doesn't close, in that case you need to try replacing your fuel pump.

yea, probably, It loses pressure VERY Quick, right when the motor shuts down, it depletes to 0.

btw the Fuel Pump is a EVO IX, I just put it in, is there any other way to check it?

it just takes a few more turns to start the car first thing, as far as hurting things goes it doesn't. ever since i installed my USED wally 255 i lose all my fuel pressure as soon as the car shuts off too... its never been a top hitter on my fix it list so it still does it.
if it bugs you that much then id put the fp you had in it before back in and see if the problem disappears.

oh, i thought it was gunna damage something, nevermind =P, thanks for the help.
