im looking at buying a new fuel pressure regulator but noticed that they have a pressure range rating. for example one is rated 30-65psi and the other is 30-70psi.
which one can hold up to 25+ psi of boost? or does it not matter at all?

^^That's got to be base pressure

I don't know how off-brand AFPR's work. You'd be best contacting Summit and asking.

Here's a description from an Aeromotive (popular brand around here) AFPR. Take note of the bolded text, as this may be what Summit means by pressure range.

The Aeromotive A1000 -6 Injected Bypass Regulator was developed for high horsepower EFI applications. Compatible with the Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pump, this regulator is a cousin to our widely-used A1000 Injected Bypass Regulator, delivering performance, long-life, and reliable operation.Base pressure (vacuum/boost disconnected) is adjustable from 30 to 70 PSI. Alcohol compatible. Provides two -6 AN inlet ports and one -6 AN return port. Fuel pressure will rise on a 1:1 ratio when referencing boost. 1/8" NPT gauge port. Beautifully finished with type II bright red and clear anodized coatings.
