looking for some new wheels, lighweight but also afordable. I'm thinking of rays g racing rim but not sure the weight, also looking for 17 size thanks in advance and if u can post pics of the rims u recomend

rota slipstreams. i know some say they are played out but you cant really beat the price, and they are very good when it comes to quality. i'm on my 3rd set and never had any problems with them.

Rota wheels in general are pretty light weight and rather inexpensive. You may also want to look into the Rota Subzero's. Very nice looking and a 17x7.5 weighs 15-16 lbs if memory serves me right.

One other suggestion to add to that of Our Great Leader: be clear as to whether these wheels are for drag-racing, autocrossing, or something in between. If memory serves, the Rotas are hard to get in, for example, 16 x 8.5, but this is one of two sensible sizes for autocrossing (the other being 18 x 10.5). In contrast, there's little reason for a drag-racer to lug around wide wheels.

Anyone heard of Flik? I found these today. At $79 a wheel it's almost too good to be true.

Flik Ftd - 17x8 (18.5 lbs.) - Waiting on a responce for the offset.

Oh, like these? What sucks (for me at least) is that the 17x8 is $79, but the 17x7 is $89. I bought them a few months ago when the 17x7's were $79 and 17x8's were $99. And I still haven't put them on the car yet....

Motegi Trak Lites or 5 Zigen FN01-R are both affordable and light weight.

I second that. The Trak Lites are kind of expensive (they're forged) but the FN01R-C wheels are pretty affordable. 17x8's only weigh 17 lbs.

I have the FLIK FTD 17x8 +45 offset wheels (check gallery). My last 225's fit fine without spacers, but I put some 5mm spacers on anyway. I have Advan A046's on now (235/45) with the 5mm spacers and still got plenty of room, I might not actually even need the spacers.

well i decided to go with the g games wolf by rays .They are pretty light 18 pounds, an the good thing about rays is they are strong as hell forged rims:thumb: . here is a pick if you guys wanna see the rims. i also put 225. 45 tires on them bf goodrich kdw
