AFC Neo install on 1g

I've got a 91 GSX and i'm looking to install my Apexi Neo but i'm having trouble finding any information on here about the installation and wiring for the 1g cars. I already checked the Apexi website but i'm having trouble opening the file to view installation guide and wiring diagrams. Does anyone have a link where I can find the installation guide and wiring diagram for the Apexi Neo on a 1g?

Anyone at all got anything?

You may want to look into this a little deeper, but apexi put out a statement that the neo was not good for cars that ran a karmann style mass air because it could not interpret the signal correctly. I'm not 100% on all of the information because this was 2 years ago when I read a thread about it. Just giving you a heads up.

well i hooked it up and double checked my connections over and over again because now the car is running terrible. It idles a little low but will run fine until i try and boost. If i'm in neutral or driving, once it boosts it starts to pop and pour out black smoke. Also, the check engine light came on. Any ideas on what this could be? the car was running fine before the Neo and now i'm stuck on what to do.

Yea they still fail to fix that issue when you initially buy it. I just bought one brand new acouple weeks ago, called them up, no matter the serial number on it, if it doesnt have the karman compability sticker, you have to send it back for reflash. Apparently giving you a free tshirt with their crappy company on it makes up for this inconvenience.

Check for the sticker probably wasnt reflashed.

Well i bought the Neo from someone in the classified and I dont see a sticker on it but he said he sent it back to have it re-flashed. Once i go into the settings screen, there is an option to choose Karman so i did that but wouldnt that mean the Neo was already re-flashed?

u were right the kid lied to mee it wasent sent back so ima try to call apexi thanx man

yeah i sent mine back free of charge, they reflashed it, and sent me back a bunch of stuff. reall good people.
