Hey guys.Today i installed Afc Neo 650 cc injectors and AFPR.
Im runing blow through setup using Maf-t Gen II. Before i installed AFC neo,the car ran good, but after i installed AFC the car runs like crap.I got no Karman readings what so ever. When i choose the "check sensors" and the Karman sensor showing nuttin.when i press a lil gas, it shows upside down U shape thing. Does it has to be like that, when you have maft-genII or not? i mean does the gm maf sensor outputs the karman signal???

Check your wiring again! Also the search button will show you TONS of responses on this subject.

im not a newb so i know what to do before posting a new thread...

i looked i found some posts, but the guys didnt had any answers there, because nobody post a thread out Afc Neo and maft genII hoocked up together..

yes agreed like said above make sure that is already karman sensor compatable i just wired one of the neos up about a week ago in a friends car and had to contact apexi and get a return form for it to be sent in and reflashed kinda sucks if your not sure call apexi and they can tell you

If im using gm maf setup,is that the reason why my afc doesn't get a karman signal readings?? if its yes, then what sensor should i pick from the sensor mode list???

daaamn was searching online all over the place about how does the Maft genII works with AFC Neo,couldn't find any info.... :(((( when i plug in the ACF ,The car wont go over 2k rpms, when i disconnect the afc ,car goes strong,=does anybody know where i should look for a problem??

If you have a multimeter check for currency on the wire for karmen on the afc side. Put the red side on the connection near the ECu then the negative side on the wire that is spliced into ecu on the afc harness. Itll tell you whether its sending a signal or not.

no i don't have the multimeter . but listen ,if im using GM maf sensor, does it outputs the Karmen signal???

I was partially right man. The gm maf will not put out karmen. But the translator does. Something is NOT spliced right in the car. It has to be the afc to the ecu. It has to be. Its the only other thing it could be that makes sense. I would check the wires once more.

Yep. Your AFC is not working right, or the wires are spliced wrong.

Isnt there a HOTWIRE sensor on there along with a Karmen sensor? I would try that and actually let the car run for atleast 5 mins. Even if the car runs like shit. The ecu needs to recop and get used to the settings and stuff. Make sure its on 4 cylinder and the arrow is up to the Right. INITIALIZE that beast.

if i swich to hotwire on AFC it gives me another settings witch sais: In-1 Out-1 what is that?

ok, I did some changes,i removed the gm maf sensor and put the 2g dsm's mas sensor.stil the same thing,No karmen readings. But right now car pulls great,no bugging under 2k rpms....something is strange..... any inputs what else should i check??? Oh and the wiring, that i did.I tapped the most of the wires not straight to ECU but to the wires ,that goes into the gm maf-t Gen II unit...... but i don't think it should be a problem...

ok i disconected the maf t from the ECU and reconected the AFC ,to make sure ,that everything is right, started the car,and again No Karman reading,Just two humps and that it. I tried to add more fuel, but, the AFC wont do any changes no matter where you set the fuel.... so i think if im not gettin the karman signal,i can't control the fuel right???

If you disconnect the MAFT, then you will never get any signal. It translate readings to the ECU. I still think something is hooked up wrong with the AFC. Any way you can get this car to a tuner or a friend in the area to check it. Thats the only thing i can think of right now. What are you thinking?

i disconnected Maf-t because i put a 2g mas sensor. So i got rid of the gm maf setup...... If i don't have any karman readings, does my car should run like a crap or not??? because it pulls like a champ,no knock nothing....

Hmm. So with the 2g maf in. The car runs good? With the MAFT in, it doesn't? Maybe you have a bad maft or gm maf. How is the wire in the gm maf? Broken, missing, not all there? Im not sure how you can test the maft.
