afc neo in a 420a n/t???

My question is can you hook up a afc Neo to a 99 eclipse n/t 420a? If so is their any step by step guide?

One question is why? And just look up a 420 pinout guide for the ecu and take the guide book they give you for a turboed car and see if they have the same signal out puts.

if its the afc im thinking of you have to wire it into the harness to use it which is something i wouldnt want to do. im pretty sure there is a video on youtube the shows you everything.

There is no videos I've checked. If someone can find a guide then please let a brother know. And my cousing has a guy that wants to install it in his 99 eclipse gs that's why I need to know.

You can, but why would you? Unless the vehicle is heavily modified you will see no gains. You'd just have a device spliced into your harness that makes pretty colors.

Find the pinout diagram for the ECU you're working with and then go from there. All you need is a ground, power, rpm, tps, and maf signal to modify.

It would work, as for gains I won't comment on. But the response should be better then a Turbo. I figure since the apexi is based on the tps, not the pressure in the intake. It might be more responsive. Just a thought.

one thing to remember with the neo units is older versions had an issue with mitsu ecu signal regarding the karmen signal if i remember correctly. they have an update that you can check to see if you need based on version. only problem is it has to be sent into apexi for the update.

They used to offer a free tshirt to cover the shipping dont know if they still do.
