This is embarassing for me to ask... how much smaller is a set of 390's compared to 450's? I ask because I got my dad a 1G A/T AWD and it's sort of a father/son project. It's getting a:

14B + Evo3 turbine housing (ported)
450cc blue tops
My old SAFC2
3000GT VR4 190lph pump

other than that the tuning is really quite simple for a basically M/T bigger turbo:thumb:
the bad thing is I don't remember how to do simple math equationsROFL highschool was only so many years ago:p .

I any one can give me a clue as to where to start the correction at I would appreciate it:thumb:

I was gonna start at -7 % across the board and go from there. Other than that the Boost is gonna be limited to 15 PSI.

I feel I owed my dad something... He sold His MINT 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi with only 38000 miles so we could live better. And he also helped me financially way too many times:D

450s flow 15% more than 390s

but just get a logger and adjust it the right way!
btw.: First time I hear someone uses a Evo3 housing with a 14B turbo.. tell me how it perform when the car is running.

It's really no different than a regular 7cm internally. Typically, you'll gain a bit of top end with it but on an auto, I think I'd rather have the slight spool up advantage of the 6cm. Not to mention that most of the fastest 14b cars ever have run their times on a 6cm.

I'm basically just gonna throw all my old parts into the A/T. Logger included, My green car has DSMlink now so i really don't need the Palm + MMCD/Tunerstien logger.

Also the reason to the EVO turbine housing is really just for heat retention. The Nickle content in the E316G 7cm housing is way more thus being less prone to cracking and can handle higher Exhaust temps.

I'm shooting for 250whp out of an A/T 14B DSM it's possible - I just need 510cc yellow tops or 560cc brown top injectors. For the mean while I'm gonna keep it simple:thumb:

I had the exact setup your reffering to. I swaped a 5spd 6 bolt into my car when I did the n't to turbo swap. I also had a A/T ecu and believe it or not the car ran great with that setup and the boost set at 15 psi. It ran rich but ran good and pulled hard. I eventually swapped the ecu out and it didn't make to much of a difference in the way the car ran.
