Aeromotive vs Walboro 255

So opinions of people who have run these. Any difference? I'd rather buy the better of the two brands at the start then have to upgrade later. I'm planning for 25-30psi on an HX40 2.3 stroker 6 bolt, 1000cc Precision Injectors.

Also i've seem multiple setups running dual pumps. What is the purpose of this? Meaning is it for more fuel at top end or can the standard walboro not keep up with high hp demands?

Thoughts?

They are both great brands. I have always used walbro though. I am currently running a 255 with 750's with hx35@32psi. My injector duty cycle is 88% at wot at 7400rpm. For my setup a 255 is enough. I have never had an issue.

Both great brands, however I have always used walbro's for my fuel pumps and aeromotive for my fuel pressure regulators.

No clue how you are pulling that off. Hx40 @ 30psi and I was hitting 120% IDC's on my 1000cc injectors (running 1 walbro 255)

I dont know. I played with my safc2, data logger, and wideband for a long time until i got it right. Runs great and its my dd.

walboro is great. And they must have changed the design or something. In the past, they had always been fairly loud as far as intanks go. My new one purchased 2months ago is silent. I thought it wasn't grounded right and it wasn't working at first. I mean it makes ZERO noise.
