I just bought the wideband and have been wandering were I should take power from. I have it mounted where my center vent was and was going to take power from spicing into the Cig Lighter but I already run my profec b2 on it and a tach and it still powers my radar detecter. I dont think it will handle another. Can I splice into the power for the radio or will this effect the gauge reading do to the power drain when the radio is on. Other idea was to spilce into the wires from the emergency light switch on the dash. Any thoughts on these's places or have a better place for me to get power from?

Just find youself an ACC wire...the red one (if aftermarket radio) on your harness will do. Otherwise, I'd go the the ACC wire on the ignition switch.

What I did was go to Walmart, buy a distribution block with 6 input/outputs, secure it above the gas pedal and distribute from there. The feed I use is directly from the ACC wire on the ignition switch.

I honestly don't recommend the the power to the radio. When i tried running that my gauge did not get readings. I power it from the Cigg lighter and now it works fine.

I wired it to my radio and I am putting the sensor in tomorrow I turned the car on to check for power and it worked so I will see what happens when I plug the senor in. I dont know why the gauge did not get a reading sounds fishy.

My wideband would power on and then all i would get is - - - Every once in awhile it would jump up and give a reading but would never cycle. I rewired it into my cigg power and now i get readings and it cycles. My radio power just might have had to many things running off of it. At the time i was running my aftermarket gauges off the radio power. Everyone is gonna have different results. try it out and see how it performs.

I took the car out and the gauge reads fine except for 10.0 a WOT man am I rich but other than that it's fine didnt try useing the radio and see if it reads funny didnt think of it during the cruise. Hope I dont have to tear all that stuff back out. Will let you know later.

Well I had to wire the power to the turbo timer harness because I forgot power needs to go to the gauge while the engine is running. So I wired it to the ignition wire. Used the radio ground. Thanks for all the responses.

The two other wire off your Turbo Timer harness are ACC power leads, I know Greddy and Apexi both have them. Don't catch your car on fire with Getto wiring Jobs.

I soldered this time I only use the twist method when I hook the power to a gauge light.
